All men of St. Matthew’s are invited to a New Testament Studies conference to be held at Wessendorf Ranch, August 1-3, 2008. The Rev. Merrill Wade will be teaching on “Jesus and the Kingdom of God – Living Our Every Day Lives." The conference starts Friday evening, August 1, through before noon on Sunday, August 3. Fr. Wade will lead a study of the Kingdom of God as preached and lived by Jesus. We will apply Jesus' teaching to our lives, especially in our relationships, our work and our goals in life.
There are accommodations for only 40 at the ranch, so get your paid reservation in early! Our registrars, Len Albertson and Bud Payne, will be available in the Narthex for registration before and after the 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday. The cost is $70.00 and the check should be made out to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, memo line entry: “2008 Men’s Conference."
