Support Groups

Becoming a member at St. Matthew’s opens up an immediate support network. However we also offer support to those outside of our own community. As Christians, we believe we are called to offer love and support in a multitude of ways, both inside and outside our own community. We welcome outside support groups as well as support groups sponsored by our own members.

The following Outreach Ministries are available on an as needed basis:

Step Forward Al-Anon Group Every Tuesday, 2:30 p. m. in B-14, Wilson Room (basement)
Alzheimer’s Support In Austin (List of other support groups in Austin area)
Alzheimer’s Support Group and Respite Care  
3rd Friday of each month, 9:30 AM in B-13/14 (basement)
Care for the Caregiver 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:00 AM - Noon in B18 (basement)
Grief Recovery Group Mondays from 5:30-6:30 PM (by request) and Wednesdays from 1-2 PM in B-6 (basement)
MPAC-Memory Powered by Active Memory. Every Tuesday
Job Support Group Every Monday, Noon - 1 PM in B-14, Wilson Room (basement)
Narcotics Anonymous Every Sunday at 6 PM in B-14, Wilson Room (basement)
Order of St. Luke Every Saturday, 9-10:30 a. m. in B-14, Wilson Room (basement)
