Lisa Kay Pfannenstiel

Lisa Kay Pfannenstiel, most commonly referred to as just “Lisa Kay”, has a wealth of experience in various industries, ranging from Finance to Transportation to Church Hospitality. Since graduating with a degree in Finance from Southwest Texas State (in an undisclosed year, but back when it was still called that), she has held notable positions such as Chief of Staff at MOD BIKES, Executive Director at Movability, Development Director at Literacy Austin, Director of Transit for the City of Cheyenne WY, Escrow Officer at Fidelity NT, and Director of Special Events at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Austin- where Lise Harding and Rev. Katie Wright got to know her. Lisa Kay has a proven track record of balancing operational efficiency with intentional hospitality while keeping costs down and revenues up. When asked “What’s the best advice that you have ever received?”, Lisa Kay replies “Trust your gut. It’s where the head and the heart meet.” In her free time, Lisa Kay and her husband Paul enjoy experiencing live music at one of Austin’s 50+ amazing local breweries and other beloved local venues like the Saxon Pub (about which she helped produce a documentary in 2019).
