The Rev. Katie Lueba has been described by those who know her well as “a rock with a great sense of humor and humility,” who understands “how to live faith with challenges,” “puts pastoral care first,” and “knows God’s grace.”

The Rev. Andrew Benko grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and went to college in Santa Fe; two decades of Cajun cooking and Hatch chile left him with a lead-lined palate and a taste for spicy foods.

The Rev. Christine Brunson joined St. Matthew’s as Assisting Clergy in January 2023, after completing her curacy at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church in Cypress, Texas.

The Rev. Allen M. Junek joined St. Matthew’s in July 2023 after he was ordained a transitional deacon in the Diocese of Texas.

The Rev. Jerry Chapman, one of our assisting clergy, completed his theological studies in 1980 in Dallas at the Anglican School of Theology.

Born in Galveston, TX and moved to Houston with my family at age 4. I attended Houston Public Schools.

Lisa Kay Pfannenstiel, most commonly referred to as just “Lisa Kay”, has a wealth of experience in various industries, ranging from Finance to Transportation to Church Hospitality.

Pat joined the staff of St. Matthew’s in August 2021. After wrapping up a fulfilling career in banking and brokerage software on Unix systems in 2003, Pat transitioned to volunteering and non-profit bookkeeping at an emergency shelter/food pantry in Utah, as well as at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Cedar City, Utah, where she was the Senior Warden and Treasurer.

Martha was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Hardwick, a small New England village. Music was part of her life from early childhood, and piano lessons turned into organ lessons in high school.

Mary was raised in a house filled with music. Her dad was a fine amateur violinist and from the age of 11, Mary accompanied him at family gatherings and musicales.

Robert is a 5th generation Texan who began learning his craft early with influences from his family’s southern cooking style blended with Texas barbecue.

Page was born in Austin, Texas, and raised by a family of tried and true Texas Longhorns. Much to their dismay, she became an Aggie and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.
