Pat joined the staff of St. Matthew’s in August 2021. After wrapping up a fulfilling career in banking and brokerage software on Unix systems in 2003, Pat transitioned to volunteering and non-profit bookkeeping at an emergency shelter/food pantry in Utah, as well as at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Cedar City, Utah, where she was the Senior Warden and Treasurer. Pat currently still serves as the Treasurer of St. Jude’s, creating their budgets and monthly reports, and remotely attending their Bishop’s Committee meetings. While in Utah, she was also on Diocesan Council and the Finance Committee of the Diocese of Utah.

Pat and her husband Alan made the move to Austin during the pandemic to be with their two daughters and three grandchildren. Their youngest daughter, Lisa, and her son, Reed, live with them; many of you have seen Reed enthusiastically participating in services at St. Matthew’s! Their oldest daughter, Chris, is the financial officer of St. Matthew’s Day School; her oldest daughter, Maddie, attends Colorado State University, and her youngest daughter, Finley, attends McCallum High School. Pat is so happy to finally live close to them!
