Honduras Good Works

For 2025, a Vestry-approved Outreach grant has been made to Honduras Good Works. Honduras Good Works deploys an annual medical brigade to a remote, mountainous region of Honduras where the people live in poverty. The brigade is made up of physicians, nurses, translators and other staff from a wide range of society. Many of the doctors, dentists and translators are from Honduras. They provide health and education services to the rural population; they also engage young Hondurans who speak English and are seeking to improve their skill with a goal of finding a job where English is needed. Their clientele for medical services, their water filter program, and scholarships for children and youth are mostly Indigenous people or Mestizos (mixed race). Find out more: https://hondurasgoodworks.org/
