Page was born in Austin, Texas, and raised by a family of tried and true Texas Longhorns. Much to their dismay, she became an Aggie and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Page is married to Gray Race and they have two daughters, Addie and Campbell, former St. Matthew’s angels. Page Race has been a part of the St. Matthew’s community for 16 years and is thrilled to embrace the position of Head of School. Page sees this new role as both a tremendous honor and an awesome responsibility. Her commitment to serving God’s children and St. Matthew’s families is evident through her existing relationships within the St. Matthew’s community. Her spirit is fed by the magic of early childhood and the gift that each child brings. Page is driven to honor the great history of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Day School, while bringing her unique energy to ensure its continued health and happiness. When Page is not at school you can find her volunteering in the community, working at her children’s schools, and enjoying family time. She and Gray are blessed to keep busy supporting the endeavors of their happy and healthy daughters. She loves to read historical fiction, travel, and walk her dog, Baskin, in her spare time.
